Consumers and corporations can make a change to tackle environmental issues! Together, we can promote awareness about the need for carbon dioxide reduction.
Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas created in the course of business and in our daily lives. Unfortunately, some vital processes which create carbon dioxide cannot be limited and the resulting volume of carbon dioxide cannot be reduced directly. Therefore, the system of carbon offsetting was designed to attempt to reduce emissions wherever possible in order to offset non-reduceable carbon emissions on a worldwide basis.
- Specifically, we are committed to the following:
-
- Forest preservation business and tree re-planting
- Clean energy, such as solar power
- Cooperating with projects to reduce greenhouse gas discharge in developing nations
In accordance with the Kyoto Protocol, which seeks to reduce carbon dioxide emissions 6% by 2012 (as compared to 1990 levels), we strive to minimize our environmental impact and CO2 emissions wherever possible on both a personal, consumer and corporate level.
